Selian Lutheran Hospital

Nurses (at right) transport a newborn patient in their "only" incubator from neo-natal ICU to the Pediatric ward.

There is no heating or cooling at the hospital in Arusha, nor are there food services.

Patients families on the hospital grounds have an area which they prepare food for their family members.

The baby to the left is post-op from a congenital inguinal hernia correction, complicated by infection.

of 2009.
