Jill DiSalvo Rose was an accomplished businesswoman in Missouri with multiple awards in real estate management, new home construction and land sales. Co-Founder and former chair of the AHHF Board of Directors, she first established herself as a community leader in Saint Louis creating collaboration and fostering philanthropy to supply useful hospital equipment to Africa.

She devotes abundant time to efforts in Africa, and enjoys spare time with horses in Sarasota and with her husband and foundation co-founder, Jeff Rose.

Jill has boundless energy, tremendous spirit and great passion for the Maasai people of Kenya and Tanzania, and native peoples of Rwanda and other East African countries. She continues to inspire collaboration among community business leaders around the mission of the African Health and Hospital Foundation.


Jeff Rose is the retired Senior Vice President, Clinical Strategy, Hearst Health, and prior to this position he was the Chief Medical Information Officer for TriZetto Corporation in Denver Colorado. He is also the former Vice President of Clinical Excellence, Ascension Health.

After 17 years of practice in radiology in Denver, CO, he turned his attention to the role of Physician Executive for multiple healing ministries in Ascension Health across the US with a focus on systems for Clinical Excellence and informatics. He taught and wrote extensively on the subject of health information technology and its role improving care quality and healing relationships.

He began volunteer work with the Selian Hospital in Tanzania two decades ago, and is an ardent supporter of advancing the state of healing practices among third world natives of Africa. He devotes spare time to his role as Executive Director of the AHHF with his wife and Chairperson Jill DiSalvo Rose.
